Program Description

The Welding program is designed to meet the minimum skill standards set by the American Welding Society (AWS) for entry-level welders. Students receive comprehensive training in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, covering various welding and cutting techniques such as arc welding, plasma cutting, oxyacetylene welding, TIG welding, MIG welding, and more. Graduates of this program can pursue employment opportunities in a diverse range of industries that require welding expertise, including both union and non-union facilities of different sizes.

Associate of Applied Science – Welding Technology (63-64 credits) – Tuition: $8,253-$8,384

Certificates:

Certificate of Achievement – Welding Technology (26 credits) – Tuition: $3,406

In addition to the tuition, there are other costs to be aware of, including approximately $1500 for textbooks and supplies related to the program. It’s important to note that additional tools and textbooks may be required each semester, incurring further expenses.
