Program Description

The Phlebotomy program, approved by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences, prepares students to collect and process specimens from healthcare clients for laboratory testing. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Competence and become eligible to take the national certification exam offered by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Degrees & Certificates

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a Certificate of Competence from KCC and become eligible to take the national certification examination administered by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Upon completing the Phlebotomy program and obtaining a Certificate of Competence, individuals can pursue career opportunities as phlebotomists in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and blood donation centers.
