Program Description

The Fire Science Program equips individuals with the necessary academic knowledge for a career in the field of Fire Service. Graduates of this program are prepared for employment opportunities in federal, state, and local fire and emergency service agencies. The program covers various aspects of fire and emergency response, including structural firefighting, wildland fire suppression, hazardous materials incidents, fire prevention and investigation, emergency medical technician skills, fire management and administration, and the incident command system.
