Program Description

Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) collaborate with licensed physical therapists to provide therapeutic programs to patients, including the application of physical agents, massage, exercise, and functional activities. They closely monitor patients during treatment and report progress to the physical therapist. Physical therapy focuses on helping individuals regain or improve everyday life skills impacted by disability, accidents, injuries, or illnesses, aiming to enhance mobility and independence through techniques and assistive devices.
