Program Description
The Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ASN-RN) equips students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to begin their careers as Registered Nurses. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN). Registered Nurses find employment in diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community-based organizations. The ASN-RN program is approved by the Hawaiʻi State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), ensuring its quality and adherence to professional standards.
