Program Description

The Nurse’s Aide Program is designed to train entry-level nurse aides in providing care to the elderly, ill, and disabled. Graduates of the program are prepared for employment in various healthcare settings such as skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, assisted living centers, clinics, hospitals, and home care. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the State of Hawaiʻi Nurse Aide certification exam. The curriculum of the program is approved by the Hawaiʻi State Director of the Department of Human Services.
