Program Description
The Hair Design program at Hawaiʻi Institute of Hair Design offers comprehensive training in hair, skin, and scalp treatments, as well as hairstyling, coloring, and bleaching techniques. Students can start their training at any time throughout the year, with formal classes beginning on specific dates. The full-time training program lasts for 10-12 months. Graduates of the program are prepared to take the National-Interstate Council Of State Boards Of Cosmetology (NIC) examination. The institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges and licensed by the Hawaii State Department of Education.
