Program Description
The Cosmetology program equips students with the necessary skills and training for a successful career in the hair and beauty industry. Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in a salon environment, students gain practical experience. After completing the program, students are eligible to take the Hawai‘i Board of Cosmetology examination, enabling them to obtain a cosmetology license in Hawai‘i. The program adheres to the standards set by the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Professional Vocational Licensing and the Department of Health for licensing requirements.
