Program Description
The Clinical Dental Assistant program trains students in the skills required to excel in fast-paced dental environments. Dental Assistants possess excellent manual dexterity and adaptability. Throughout the program, students learn how to assist with examinations and dental procedures, prepare rooms and instruments, administer topical anesthetics, take dental impressions and records, sterilize and disinfect equipment, develop and mount x-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene principles, and utilize patient management software.

Upon completing the Clinical Chairside Dental Assisting program, graduates have access to a wide range of rewarding career opportunities in the dental field. Positions such as dental assistant, orthodontic assistant, oral surgery assistant, and pediatric dental assistant become available.
