Program Description

The Beginner Farmer Training program at the Hawaiʻi Institute of Pacific Agriculture provides immersive and hands-on agricultural education for individuals interested in pursuing careers in the industry. The program offers two 5.5 month cohorts per year on their working organic farm, focusing on market gardening and tropical agroforestry projects. Participants, aged 18-28, receive farm-fresh food, rustic housing, and a monthly stipend of $500.
